Aloha!
Meet Alexis & Mike
Aloha and Mahalo for visiting ...
MarjorieÊ»s Kauai Inn was built as a classic Bed and Breakfast in 1993. As one of the longest established B&B on all the islands, Marjorie’s Kauai Inn has it ALL - privacy on 1.2 acres of pristine gardens, a 50 ft salt water pool, barbecue and absolutely no cleaning fees added to stays of 4-nights or more.
In addition, since COVID we have refreshments in a common refrigerator besides our full daily homemade breakfast Monday - Saturday.
Each room has a beautiful lanai with expansive panoramic views of the famous Lawai Valley. Kitchenettes feature a refrigerator and coffee maker. No other cooking appliances are allowed in hotel rooms on a Kaua’i as per Kaua’i Ordinance.
We are Alexis and Mike, owners of Marjorie's Kauai Inn since 2005.
We have been in the vacation business for the last 30 years owning B&Bʻs and vacation homes in North Carolina, Florida, Costa Rica, Australia and now, Kauai.
We settled on Kauai because of the real island experience it has to offer. In our very young hippy-ish days, we spent many a nights sleeping on the beaches of the Hawaiian Islands always promising each other that if we were ever lucky enough to afford it, we would come back and find a secret spot to share with travelers that really wanted a unique island experience.

Our extreme emphasis on service, with the outdoor enthusiast in mind, makes Kauai and Marjorie’s Kauai Inn a paradise secret for any guest that happens upon us.

As an International Flight Attendant, Alexis has visited many exotic places but none has compared to the natural beauty found traveling the Hawaiian Islands, especially Kauai.

She brings all the knowledge gained in the industry in the way of service and comfort for the traveler. She has spent time in many beautiful and unique rooms during her travels and appreciates the feeling a traveler gets as they step through the door of their room. That first impression sets the mood for their whole vacation experience.

Mike would rather be in a secluded spot in the wilderness than a hotel bed any day. And before we married, he spent 35 weeks a year traveling the world either with his bike or backpack and hiking boots or, as in the case of the Australian outback, in an old Holden complete with kangaroo skin stuck to the roof-rack.
Most of all, we know the best and secret places to hike and the best food on the island, plus we also promise you the very best and healthiest breakfast on Kauai, served upstairs Monday – Saturday starting with fresh organic fruit juices. Besides the healthful breakfast bar, we also invite you to our gourmet breakfast entree choice of the day. Whether it is Buckwheat Crepes - sweet or savory - omelets to order, Eggs Benedict ala Alexis, or simply organic, steel cut oats we guarantee that you can skip lunch and go straight for dinner out at one of our many suggestions.
While Mike is manicuring the pristine property for you to enjoy, Alexis is always at your service when it comes to tips for the best foods, best atmosphere or simply somewhere to grab the best burger/fish sandwich or local plate lunch. Been there, done that and love it!
Aloha and see you soon!
Alexis & Mike
